Corrections and takedown requests

Some pages on this site are generated automatically from public news and trend feeds. They are checked before publication, but automated checks are not perfect. If something here is wrong, we want to know and we will fix it.

How to reach us

Email corrections@crimezero.org with the page URL and what is inaccurate. We aim to respond within 48 hours.

For a formal legal notice, use legal@crimezero.org. Include the URL, the specific statement in dispute, and the basis of the objection.

What we do

If a claim on a generated page is not supported by the sources it cites, we remove that claim. If a page should not exist, we take it down and add the subject to a permanent blocklist so it is never regenerated. Retracted pages return a clear notice rather than disappearing silently, so that anyone who linked to them can see what happened.

Our editorial rules

Generated pages never name private individuals, never assert that anyone is guilty of anything, never comment on matters before a court, and attribute every factual claim to a named publication with a working link. If you find a page that breaches any of those rules, that is a bug and we treat it as one.
